Learn how to bring order to a high stress medical emergency, with the skills to address a drowning, fracture, concussion, short and long term wound care, dislocations, along with many other injures and ailments. You’ll also acquire the same patient assessment skills that are consistently used throughout the national emergency medical services.
This two day course will hold your attention, and each day will fly by. You’ll be proud of the valuable life skills that you’ve acquired, along with the confidence to apply them in an emergency. Your instructors are current and former fire service personnel with extensive medical field experience in austere settings. They are also veteran sailors and whitewater enthusiasts who especially love encouraging student success. They’ll be guiding you through multiple hands-on activities to build your skills and confidence.
