Wilderness First Aid Training & Certification from home during the Covid-19 Pandemic

The curriculum and practices for this course are our absolute favorite to teach.  We hope that our enthusiasm is infectious.  It is our intent for participants to feel fully supported at all times.

Typically, this course runs approximately 8-16.  This course will be managed to meet a timeline that works best for all participants. 

There will be a great deal of time utilizing self-study, video, Zoom conferencing, classroom instruction with social distancing.  Participants are greatly encouraged to call and/or email the instructor at any time to discuss any aspect of the curriculum.  

To get started, please submit an email to ken@ncfems.com outlining why you are interested in becoming a Wilderness First Certified, and any experience you may have regarding first aid care.  

Because we like to keep our prices low, and also that this course will be provided in a hybrid fashion, the fee will be $140.00.  The textbook can be purchased on Amazon for approximately $30.00 

We are a Continuing Education Provider through Coastal Valley EMS and will issue a CE Certificate for 8 hours upon request.  The WFR certification is issued through American Health & Safety Institute.

EMT, Certified Instructor for California State Fire Training, National Association of Search & Rescue (NASAR), American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI), EMS Safety Services, and former Fire Chief in Mendocino County.

Our other qualified instructors may also assist with instruction throughout this course.
